§  Fourth Quarter 2007

Issue a Regional Report, consensus forecast and press release.  Answer questions for the credit union press following the release.

§  Third Quarter 2007

Gather and exchange relevant economic/credit union information.  Formulate consensus forecast and issue a press release for the third quarter.

§  Second Quarter 2007

Issue a Regional Report, consensus forecast and press release.  Meet with Dallas Federal Reserve.  Answer questions for the credit union press following the meeting.

§  First Quarter 2007

Gather and exchange relevant economic/credit union information.  Set the agenda for the April meeting with the Dallas Federal Reserve.  Formulate consensus forecast and issue a press release for the first quarter.

§  Fourth Quarter 2006

Issue a Regional Report, consensus forecast and press release.  Answer questions for the credit union press following the meeting.

§  Third Quarter 2006

Gather and exchange relevant economic/credit union information.  Set the agenda for the meeting with Federal Reserve.  Formulate consensus forecast and issue a press release for the third quarter.

§  Second Quarter 2006

Issue a Regional Report, consensus forecast and press release.  Meet with St. Louis Federal Reserve.  Answer questions for the credit union press following the meeting.

§  First Quarter 2006

      Gather and exchange relevant economic/credit union information.  Set the agenda for the April meeting with the St. Louis Federal Reserve.  Formulate consensus forecast and issue a press release for the first quarter.

§  Fourth Quarter 2005

Conduct planning discussions with members.  Send a letter to the Federal Reserve to schedule an April 2006 meeting.  Formulate consensus forecast, issue a regional report and a press release for the fourth quarter.  

§  Third Quarter 2005

      Attend panel discussion at a national conference.  Gather and exchange relevant economic/credit union information.  Formulate a consensus forecast and issue a press release for the third quarter.  

§  Second Quarter 2005

Issue a Regional Report, a consensus forecast and a press release.  Met with Kansas City Federal Reserve President.  Answered questions for the credit union press following the meeting.

§  First Quarter 2005

Gathered and exchanged relevant economic/credit union information.  Set the agenda for the meeting with the Kansas City Federal Reserve.

CUEG intends to provide the credit union community as well as the general public with a biannual report discussing both current macroeconomic conditions as well as credit union-specific financial activity in each of the five NCUA regions. 
Fall 2006 Regional Report
 
 
 
One of the foremost purposes for CUEG is to provide a broad perspective on a variety of macroeconomic and credit union growth trends. A consensus forecast on the U.S. economic landscape is provided to the public free of charge.

Through detailed planning sessions among the membership, the issuance of press releases on all current work products, and meetings with the Federal Reserve Board, CUEG intends to remain quite active throughout the calendar year.
